So, I've finally shelled out the money and bought my first few BJDs...

I've decided that I'm going to be sticking to all resin, and give up on buying any obitsus. Something about the metal screws they have showing (quite obviously) on their joints disturbs me... Idk...

My first one, Arcana, came on November 9th, 2007. My second one, a head, Yuki, came on December 22nd, 2007. My third one, unnamed, will be bought around the middle of March of this year. I'm excited!!! I will be getting my fourth either between March and June, or after June. I'm getting one in the summer as well, hopefully.

In case anyone is interested...
Arcana = LE50 DZ Xi-Aleister full doll, default faceup, eyes, special LE wig and full outfit + cane
Yuki = standard AA Yi head, default faceup, eyes, no wig, custom beanie
Unnamed = BBB Pixie with tons of extras

My next few dolls will probably be:
AA Shi-wu (floating head and body for Yuki, or other way around)

I'm still working on making my own BJD, although resin is hard to find here, so I'm not sure how that's going to work. I've already made many heads and a few torsos of out regular clay, since that's all I have access to here. (poor me, I know xD)

Ooh, exciting news! I've gotten permission from one of my friends to draw him, and I'm ecstatic about it! Pretty soon I'll have it done, and I'll post it on here for you guys to see. I haven't done portraits in a LONG time... ^_^;

As well, a woman recently commissioned me to sketch portraits of her three children, which I'm also very happy about, but I won't be able to start those until late March, due to tests and hw x_X

I've just added three (really crummy) photos of Yuki, my floating head, and as soon as I buy a new camera (that doesn't suck as much as my current one) I'll post up pictures of Arcana, and my unnamed-for-now BB Pixie. ^_^
